CWC Interiors Shaped What It Means to Give Through Design
The Exclusive CWC Collector’s Event, brought together designers, collectors, and industry partners for an evening that celebrated creativity, purpose, and CWC Interiors’ continued dedication to meaningful work. For 35 years, CWC Interiors’ mission has been to bring globally celebrated design into Filipino homes, and its vision continues to support an eco-conscious, design-literate future where timeless pieces are not only admired but cared for and passed down through generations. For the first time ever, President and CEO Mr. Fred Yuson opened his private archives to the public, revealing rare, discontinued, and limited-edition pieces he had carefully preserved for decades. All of the pieces were available exclusively for sale, with selected pieces offered through an auction where the proceeds of which went to support the Tuloy Foundation and the CWC Scholarship Program.

One of the evening’s highlights was the unveiling of two remarkable pieces, the Molded Plywood Sculpture by Charles and Ray Eames and the Limited Edition Vitra × RIMOWA Stool in Silver/Emerald finish, both presented as selected auction pieces. The Eames Molded Plywood Sculpture was originally produced only twice in 1943 and was reintroduced as a limited edition of twelve in celebration of eighty years of Eames Office. Alongside it stood the Vitra × RIMOWA Stool, a collectible mobile cube crafted from grooved aluminum and equipped with the German Maison’s Multiwheel system, featuring a Vitra-upholstered interior and released as an edition of 1,000.

CWC’s Commitment to the Tuloy Foundation
As part of CWC’s ongoing commitment in giving back to the community, a portion of the proceeds from the auctioned pieces was dedicated to supporting the Tuloy Foundation. Founded in 1993 by Fr. Rocky Evangelista, the foundation had grown into a safe haven for poor, abandoned, and homeless children, providing not only shelter but also access to education and holistic care. Through this initiative, CWC showed that design could extend beyond spaces and objects. Collectors who took part in the auction not only brought home a remarkable piece of design but also helped change a child’s life.

CWC’s Commitment to Education
The evening also emphasized CWC’s commitment to nurturing future Filipino designers through the CWC Scholarship Program for students of De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde (DLS–CSB). The program provides financial support, mentorship, and industry exposure, empowering young creatives to grow and lead. Many of the scholarships are made possible through special projects, including book proceeds and design-centered initiatives. CWC further enriches design education by donating valuable learning resources, such as the Vitra Miniatures Collection, giving students firsthand access to iconic design history. A portion of the proceeds from the auctioned pieces was also dedicated to supporting the CWC Scholarship Program.
An Evening of Design and Impact
CWC Interiors’ Exclusive Collector’s Event was more than a celebration of rare and iconic design; it was a meaningful reflection of the brand’s enduring values. By opening its private archives, supporting the Tuloy Foundation, and investing in the education of future Filipino designers, CWC demonstrated how design can bridge heritage, generosity, and purpose. The evening highlighted a powerful message that timeless pieces gain even greater value when they contribute to positive change, ensuring that design excellence continues to inspire, uplift, and create impact well beyond the showroom.
