VDM The Chair Collection Poster (New Edition)

The Chair Collection Poster by Vitra Design Museum is a beautifully curated visual journey through the history of modern chair design. Featuring 224 selected pieces from the museum's extensive collection of more than 7,000 objects, this poster celebrates the evolution of seating design across different periods and styles.

Now in its seventh edition, updated in November 2022, the poster presents iconic chair designs arranged chronologically from the Chaise de Garde by Jean-Joseph Chapuis, dating back to 1802, through to contemporary designs from 2022. Each featured piece is accompanied by the name of its original manufacturer, making the poster both an educational reference and a striking decorative piece.
